Hi all. I want to know how I can build an amazing kennel and how I can do this without the master controller mod. I want to have a pug rescue and a website for it. I want to use Weebly and want to know how and what would be the best way to make the layout look like. I would probably have 2 other families so I can have pug rescues, collie rescues, and pitbull terrier rescues all on this website. Also if I can figure out how to add custom content I will add custom content. I can’t use the master controller because it doesn’t work on my game. Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

I think before you jump into the whole making a website, you should consider what you want to get out of it and what’s the best and least time-consuming way for you to achieve that. If you just primarily want a way to keep a record of your Sims 3 pets pug rescue game, I strongly recommend you go with a blog, instead of messing about with websites and designs for it, which will take up a lot of your time.

That way you can truly have your Sims 3 idea online in 10 minutes (rather than the endless amount of time you’d otherwise spend making everything look exactly as you want) and then just simply make a new entry in your blog whenever you feel like it. The most successful Sims 3 fan blog is:

http://aliceandkev.wordpress.com

You can borrow a lot of ideas from there. For blogs, WordPress is simply better than Weebly (and any other platform for that matter), so I’d go with WordPress and that same K2-lite template or a similar clean looking template. Then if you’re good at telling a story and at adorning it with pictures, you may find that some people take an interest in your Sims 3 adventure. If they don’t, at least you haven’t spent days and days building a pretty website that no one is visiting.

In theory you could do just that, having the three families, each looking after one breed, but in practice, I think switching between families and keeping track of what’s happening in each household and in the scattered pets’ lives could become a pain. I would try to get MasterController working properly in your game. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t and it would make your save 100 times easier to manage. This is my working MasterController set-up:

- Files downloaded:
‘Resource.cfg’: http://skuld.modthesims.info/Resource.cfg
‘NRaas_MasterController_V82.zip’: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterController

‘Resource.cfg’ in ‘C:\Documents and Settings\<computer name>\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods’
‘NRaas_MasterController.package’ (after extracting from zip file) in ‘C:\Documents and Settings\<computer name>\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages’

He’s almost 8 and we want puppies before he gets too old is it too late?

He isn’t too old, but I don’t recommend breeding your dog just because you want some cute puppies. Those puppies will eventually need to find other homes and there are way too many dogs out there needing homes already.

Alright, so I wanted to buy a Female Pug for my Dad, therefore went to the Dog show today, there were plenty of breeders, all of them were selling the pug puppies of over 2 months which is super.

There was a breeder over there who actually wanted to get rid of a 1-1.5 month old female pug, for some reason it was a left out puppy, and nobody was ready to buy her. I was standing at his stall and was playing with other dogs he had, mean time another breeder showed up, and these guys started talking in another language, fortunately i knew that language, they were deciding on either to sell it for whatever they can get, or else were planning to abandon her, I don’t know why but these guys wanted to just free up that crate for another litter of Husky.

Anyways, long story short, I paid a decent amount to rescue her, she is like 45 days old, beautiful female puggy (yeh that’s what i call her for now) I’m giving her Cerelac in the lukewarm cow’s milk.

She eats very little, and was sort of shivering, therefore i ended up putting her crate infront of the room heater, she is now looking bit calm and stable, and sleeping very sweetly.

I need to know how often should i feed her, what should I feed her, and how should I treat her …like should i just let her stay in the crate for some time, and let her pee and poo in the crate itself, i need to know a timetable sort of thing which you feel i should follow to raise her well.

You can see her pictures here – https://picasaweb.google.com/118379698636826503564/Puggy?authkey=Gv1sRgCO2nqJDMzvL4gAE#

My dad wants to know if its a good idea to feed her some egg white (boiled) or some minced chicken? Please give me tips and share your experience.

Ok I dont know what kind of dog show you went to? It sounds more like a mill auction. But it is done and you have a tiny baby to take care of that should not have left mama yet. You can give her scrambled egg, but I prefer to use goat milk mixed with jarred baby meat.

NO COW milk it will give her the runs… which will cause her to become dehydrated & weaker. If she does well with the mix for a couple days then you can try more eggs, hamburger (warm raw is easier for her to eat), or a GOOD quality puppy food soaked in goat milk or milk replacer. It takes longer for them to learn to drink water without inhaling it. Feed her at least 4 or 5 times a day. I let them eat as much as they want at that age. That is how I teach them not to be food aggressive.

Put just half of the crate in front of the heater so she can move away from the heat if she gets too warm. You can make her a little litter box with wood shavings like you would get for a ferret or hamster. She should not be outside without shots. If they were selling her early I doubt she has been wormed or had any shots. YOU do not want to just let her pee & poop in the crate because then you will not be able to house train her.

To make a litter box is easy she is tiny just get a big cat box. Put her in it every hour or so… And after she eats. She is gonna have accidents- she is too little to know what you want her to do. You can rub her lower belly with a warm damp cloth or paper towel to encourage her to pee & poop.

It will stimulate circulation if you rub her all over with a dry cloth. Her mama would still be cleaning her several times a day. She would still be sleeping with her siblings and beginning to play. So you do want to hold her & play with her when she is ready… If she is still weak then hold her rub her with a towel at least a few times a day -each time you feed her. Just plan to change her bed everyday, maybe more…

My pug sometimes woud pant heavily for one hour or two because of the heat. Even when I tried to turn on aircon and have plenty of water available for him. Is there any other way ?

What are some of the common illness that pugs might have ?

Oh and, I have him eat dental bone , which are supposed to be good for his teeth, but anything that is good for his breath ?

Pugs are a flat faced dog, which means they have a hard time breathing. You would’ve noticed that this stops after sometimes, don’t let him exert too much and keep him in a cool place, not too much time outside. Pugs can develop serious problems if the wrinkles on their face are not cleaned. They have respiratory illnesses too. Pugs can develop bronchitis easily. The shortened muzzle (referred to as brachiocephalic) is the root of breathing problems and air gulping. The main symptom for this issue is that your pug has way too many gases. At the same time, breathing problems occur especially in hot, humid season. Therefore, air conditioning in summer months in the south is vital.

Signs of heat prostration are frequent in brachiocephalic dogs. Pugs in heat pain should be cooled with cold water and taken to a veterinarian as soon as possible. If you’re not a vet, than don’t try to solve the pug’s breathing problems at home. You’re not proficient enough and you’d only make him suffer for a longer time. Go to a doctor. He’ll make you dog feel better. However, it’s indicated to keep an ice bag on hand, in order to bring your pug’s internal temperature back to normal when needed. The Pug’s eyes swell somewhat and can get injured, and he can have eyelid or eyelash deformities.Tooth and gum problems are also likely to appear with this breed because of the somewhat undershot jaw. Owners should check up the mouth of a growing pup to make sure baby teeth are not retained and to watch for mouth tumors. If you read the article about pug care tips, you’ll understand why brushing their teeth is highly recommended to avoid gum disease.
Get your dog checked by your vet if you spot anything wrong. And yes, SOME denta bones do help with bad breath!

I am looking for a pug puppy and we will be traveling from Atlanta to Savannah next week. I am willing to travel a little bit to look for one. I have searched online and can’t seem to come up with anything. Anybody know any pug breeders around Savannah or Atlanta?
I have googled to find breeders but none of the links pan out. I was mainly trying to see of anyone had personal experience. And I want a puppy not an adult dog.

http://pugs.org/breeders.shtml#Georgia Breeder listings for that state. NO guarantee any will have pups on the ground ready to go that week AND have any avail since a good breeder will already have had buyers lined up/waiting lists etc.

I want to get a pug and don’t know where to look for a breeder.

If you want a reputable breeder

Search this site: http://www.pugs.org/indexbreeder.htm

Remember, you get what you pay for, if you want a well bred Pug, be willing to pay upwards of $800+ for a puppy.

Osteoform Calcium – Phosphorus and Vitamin Supplement

Aids in the healing of fractures. The vitamins it contains – Vitamins A, D, and C – are all involved in bone and cartilage metabolism.
