Almost 5 month pug puppy has started pooping less often/different times. She is pooping later and later (each time) every day?
Is it her age? Activity level? She eats By nature puppy food. It is corn/soy/wheat free and high in protein.
When my puppy changes her pooping schedule or amount, it’s our sign that we need to weigh her again, and potentially increase the amount of food she gets if she now weighs more.
Basically, if she’s getting less food proportional to her size, she poops less.
At 5 months, your dog is probably growing like crazy, so as long as she is maintaining the appropriate shape (not to skinny or fat), I wouldn’t be too concerned about her pooping schedule.
