Hi i was browsing a website called kijiji.com it is a classifieds where you sale things ,almost like craigslist.com but any how this person is claming she has 2 pugs for sale. now ive had pugs b4 and they dont look like this, ARE THEY MIXED or is there different types of pugs that i wasnt aware of? they dont have a smushed face nor a curley tail or giant eyes? The first one is definitely a mix.
Beware of this seller. They are most likely a BYB. They are trying to sell a pair of dogs who have already been bred (they are both too young to have been bred, I might add), and they are misrepresenting them as pugs when they are obviously mixed with something else.

NOOO at first glance I thought yes, but definitely not! There may be a little pug mixed in but look at that tail! It is long straight and bushy! They don't look like very well cared for animals anyways though…

That is definitely not a pure bred Pug. They're really strange looking. Especially the female with the pups. I wonder what kind of puppies those are, too. Weird..

Those dogs seem like they are terribly scared and they look like they are kept in horrible conditions. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. It's either a Pug mix (possibly with Beagle) or a TERRIBLY bred Pug.
I can't believe they bred two dogs under 2 yrs old! ugh!

It's likely to be a mix. There is a possibility that it could be purebred…but if so it is certainly one of the worst examples of the breed ever. Purebred dogs don't always look like they're supposed to and when people breed dogs just because they're both "purebred" with no regard whatsoever to whether or not the dogs meet or even come close to the breed standard, especially over several generations, the result can be true purebred dogs that lack the distinctive characteristics that the breed is supposed to have.
